From crows to ... urban seagulls

Seagulls are increasingly in the news in the UK, as their behaviour towards humans seems to be getting more aggressive every year, especially in seaside locations. They dive-bomb humans to snatch food such as chips and ice-cream cones. Looking through my archives, I have about 80 images featuring the birds, and I've posted a small selection below. "Seagull" is catch-all term for various species of gull at the seaside. The ones here are all the commonly seen herring gull (Larus argentatus), apart from the black-headed gulls (Chroicocephalus ridibundusin Bournemouth.
