Maciej Dakowicz and Joni Karanka are starting a new photography and visual arts gallery in Cardiff. In between obsessively photographing Cardiff’s nightlife, the pair have somehow found time to convert a 100 square metre premises in Cardiff Bay into a gallery and artist work spaces.
It’s opening on the evening of Friday 12 February with the exhibition ‘Love UK’ by Peter Dench. The show runs until 7 March.

The gallery's web site is taking shape, and you can also keep track of proceedings at the Facebook page.
Cardiff seems to be the place to be at the moment, with Dr Who leading the way for an increasing number of TV programmes being filmed there and possibly “the largest concentration of media jobs in the UK outside London”.
